REMINDER:
Yard Waste: The DOS accepts yard waste. Please note that the City of Ann Arbor Compost Center, located at the Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) on Platt Road, does NOT accept yard waste loads of less than six cubic yards. All yard waste loads less than six cubic yards
should be dropped off at the Drop-Off Station at 2950 East Ellsworth Road.
Recycling-Only Express
Lane: The recycling-only express lane is on the right side of the road between the entry gate and the booth. Customers who only have free household recycling
items, without any fee items, may drive in the right lane and enter the building directly, without having to
wait in line.

CONTAINERS: Includes empty and rinsed milk cartons, juice boxes, glass
(jars, bottles, Pyrex), ceramics, plastic bottles (marked #1 and #2), metals (steel
cans, lids, empty aerosols, aluminum cans, foil, pie tins)

AND #4 PLASTIC BAGS: Clean,
dry and free of debris, including receipts, #2 (high density polyethylene) and
#4 (low density polyethylene) plastic bags. Meat, bread or food wrappers are not
accepted. Ziploc storage bags or baggies, trash bags, bags with strings or hard
plastic handles are not accepted.
STYROFOAM: Includes bagged packing peanuts and egg cartons
TEXTILES: Clothing or household textiles that are clean, dry, and free of mildew, grease or other dirt. Clothing must be wearable or repairable, Household linens include drapes, tablecloths, cloth napkins, sheets, blankets, and towels. Textiles not accepted include: rugs, carpeting, dressmaker or quilting cuttings, commercial textile trimmings, burlap bags, industrial laundry garments, shop rags, shoes and boots (some shoes accepted, see description below), belts, purses or pillows.
SHOES: Paired ladies', men's, children's, walking, dress and tennis-type shoes. Heavy work boots, ladies' high heels, bedroom slippers, skates, golf spikes, baseball cleats, rain boots or galoshes are not accepted.
HARDCOVER BOOKS & PAPERBACK BOOKS Each have their own, separate bin

Tipwall volumes
