Nationally recognized as an established leader in recycling programs, Recycle Ann Arbor has been instrumental in diverting recyclable waste from landfills and reducing pressure on natural resources. In , RAA recovered and recycled more than 10,600 tons of material.

RAA is committed to developing innovative recycling programs that will limit the abundance of reusable materials from ending up in landfills every year while supporting initiatives to improve the environmental quality of our community through recovery, reuse, recycling and effective energy use.

Under contract with the City of Ann Arbor, RAA provides weekly curbside collections of recyclables for all Ann Arbor residents. RAA also operates Washtenaw County's most comprehensive regional Drop-Off Station, serving Ann Arbor and Washtenaw County, along with several satellite drop-off stations in surrounding communities.
