Items
The ReUse Center accepts the following items in good reusable
condition. All donations are tax deductible.
BUILDING
MATERIALS
Clean Lumber (4' or longer, no rot or infestation, nails are OK)
Doors (good condition, no gray aluminum storm doors)
Windows (no single pane, no aluminum frame)
Chipboard, OSB, Plywood (half sheet or more)
Siding (large lots only)
Flooring (wood and vinyl)
Roofing (no loose roofing, wrapped only)
Kitchen and Bath Cabinets
Kitchen and Bath Sinks (no rust or chips)
Tubs (no chips, cracks or cast iron)
Toilets (white or off-white only, bowl/tank attached)
Tile (Glass, Mirror, Brick, Block, Paving)
Lighting and Ceiling Fans (complete, no PCB ballasts)
Carpets (New or like-new quality)
Hardware and Tools
Fencing (chain link, treated wood, no rot)
Plumbing Materials
HOUSEHOLD
ITEMS
All household items, including electrical items, must be complete,
clean and in good usable condition.
Furniture: Couches, desks, tables, recliners, stuffed chairs, chair sets, dressers, file cabinets,
mattresses, box springs, bed frames, bookcases, and more.
Appliances*: Washers, dryers (up to 10 yrs old), under-the-counter
dishwashers (like new only), portable dishwashers, water heaters (up to
5 yrs old), small kitchen appliances, ranges,
freezers, refrigerators (up to 10 yrs old), and more.
*There is a $25 deposit required for accepting freon-filled appliances. The deposit is returned upon confirmation that the appliance is in good
working order.
Electronics: Color, cable-ready TVs puchased in 2000 or later, stereo equipment, VCRs, CD players, cameras,
telephones, projectors, computers and monitors,** and more. Please call to confirm that computers and/or monitors are currently being accepted.
**Computer Acceptance Policy: Computers and monitors must be less than 5 years old and in good working
order. We do not accept computers with RAM and/or drives removed. We do not accept printers, scanners or fax machines.
We also accept: Hardware, tools, lawn mowers, gardening supplies,
sport/exercise equipment, books, audio/video tapes, records, CDs, art
work, quality kitchenware, office supplies, healthcare equipment, pet
supplies, antiques, collectibles and more!
The ReUse Center reserves the right to add or remove items from these lists at any time. |
