As a nonprofit organization, Recycle Ann Arbor relies on the support of volunteers in many capacities to help bring the best service to our customers. Volunteer assistance is always welcome in a variety of areas:
EcoLeaders
EcoLeaders is a volunteer network made up of community members who want to educate their neighbors about recycling and waste reduction. Volunteer as little as a few hours per year, to as much as a few hours per week. ReUse Center
The ReUse Center is always in need of volunteers to help sort merchandise and provide customer assistance. Community and corporate groups of volunteers are welcome! Volunteering in the ReUse Center is a great way for high school students to complete their community service graduation requirements (age 16 or older). Drop-Off Station
Customer assistance, landscape beautification and special projects are some of the many ways that volunteers can help out at the Drop-Off Station, the state’s largest community recycling center. For more information about volunteering at the Drop-Off Station, call (734) 971-7400.
Calvert’s Roll-Off Containers
Various volunteer opportunities are available at Calvert’s Roll-Off Containers. For more information about volunteering at Calvert’s, call (734) 426-2280.
Environmental House
Volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks in the Environmental House, such as giving tours, or organizing the resource library. For more information, contact the Environmental House at (734) 662-6288.
