What To Do With Return to A-Z Guide

Small appliances

Donate working small appliances to an area thrift store or at locations throughout the A2 Reuse Network. Bring broken small appliances to Drop-Off Station. Small appliances include microwaves, toasters, blenders, coffee makers, rice cookers, blow dryers, electric irons, and more.

Recycle Right!

Small appliances are not accepted material in your curbside recycling cart and will not be picked up with your other recycling.

Live Zero Waste!

Try to repair any broken appliances before recycling them! Donating working appliances is the best way to guarantee that they will be reused by someone new!

Other Places These are Accepted:

  1. Best Buy accepts appliances for haul-away recycling when you buy an eligible replacement and have it delivered to your home for $24.99, or $99 without a qualifying purchase
  2. Lowe's accepts appliances for haul-away recycling when you have a new appliance delivered by them for $30
  3. Home Depot accepts appliances for haul-away recycling when having a new appliance delivered by them for an additional charge (not specified)

While we do our best to stay updated on alternative reuse and recycling locations, we recommend that you call locations before taking your item(s) to confirm that they currently accept them.
