Recovery Yard
About
The Recovery Yard, operated by Recycle Ann Arbor —a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization— is Michigan's only non-profit, mission-based construction and demolition recycler. Our goal is to maximize the recycling of materials from construction and demolition (C&D) sites while ensuring that waste is disposed of safely and sustainably. We offer C&D debris recycling, roll-off dumpster rentals, and drop-off recycling services to businesses, residents, and contractors in Southeast Michigan, all with a zero waste approach. Additionally, we provide LEED point certification to assist you in achieving LEED certification for your projects.
Our experienced and professional staff is here to meet your C&D recycling needs, regardless of the project's size. Whether you're clearing out a basement, renovating, moving, or undertaking a demolition, concrete work, or new construction, we ensure your debris is handled in an environmentally responsible manner. With our C&D sorting capabilities, we separate concrete, clean wood, cardboard, single-stream recycling, and metal from your construction debris for maximum recovery and recycling, ensuring the best diversion rate to keep these materials out of landfills and back in circulation.
We provide free estimates and offer expedient scheduling for most of our services. Count on the Recovery Yard for timely service that keeps your project on track while ensuring your materials are recovered responsibly, in line with our zero-waste mission.
All customers must pay the appropriate recycling fees to access all services at the Recovery Yard. Recycle Ann Arbor strives to keep recycling costs low and ensure accessibility and equity for all users. Additional charges will apply based on the materials brought in. See our price list for full details.
