Drop-Off Station

About

The Drop-Off Station is your one-stop location for all your recycling and safe waste disposal needs, an environmentally preferable alternative to landfilling or illegal dumping. Serving residents and businesses located in Washtenaw County and beyond, the Drop-Off Station provides convenient and accessible recycling services for hard-to-recycle materials such as electronics (e-waste), textiles, plastic bags, freon appliances, lightbulbs, batteries, tires, and expanded recycling for single-stream and metal.

Operated by Recycle Ann Arbor, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the Drop-Off Station is almost entirely supported by the fees paid by site users to maintain the services provided. The Drop-Off Station does not receive any funding from local government. We appreciate your support!

All customers using the waste and recycling services at the Drop-Off Station are required to pay the gate fee; additional fees on materials will apply depending upon the services being used. See the price list for full details.

Drop-Off Station Gate Fees

We offer different payment options based on your usage of our service. For infrequent site users, we offer one-day rates where the gate fee is paid once per day. If you are a regular and frequent customer, we recommend purchasing a ten-visit punch pass or an annual pass. Please note that these passes only cover the gate fee, and additional fees may apply depending upon the service used and will be payable at the gatehouse by the customer. The annual pass gives customers a 5% discount on their general waste fees throughout the year. Credit Card transactions only. No cash or checks.
