What To Do With Return to A-Z Guide

Plastic Jug

Plastic jugs are containers that have a narrow opening compared to the body and typically come with a screw on cap (i.e laundry detergent and vinegar jugs). The screw on caps to jugs are accepted for recycling as long as they are screwed back on tight to the original container. Plastic jugs are accepted in curbside recycling, the Drop-Off Station, and the Recovery Yard.

Recycle Right!

Make sure your plastic jug is empty and clean.Screw the cap back on tight to ensure that it gets sorted with the plastic containers! If the plastic jug caps are put in your curbside recycling bin loose, they are vulnerable to literally falling through the cracks at the recycling sorting facility.
