What To Do With Return to A-Z Guide

Shoes

Shoes that are unwearable, damaged, and not acceptable for reuse are accepted as textiles for recycling at the Drop Off Station. Shoes must be clean of dirt/debris and dry to be recycled. Shoes that are clean and in good usable condition, are accepted for donation at locations throughout the A2 Area Reuse Network.

Recycle Right!

Shoes must be clean, dry, and bagged before dropping off. More than three bags will be subject to additional recycling fees at the Drop-Off Station. Do not put clothing, shoes, or textiles in your curbside recycling cart. These materials can jam up the machinery, causing damage and delays, and creating unsafe conditions for our workers.

Choose Zero Waste!

Visit your local thrift or reuse store to buy shoes instead of buying new.

Shoes that are new or gently worn are accepted at Soles4Souls through drop-off or through their mail-back program in partnership with Zappos

While we do our best to stay updated on alternative reuse and recycling locations, we recommend that you call locations before taking your item(s) to confirm that they currently accept them.
