A Fond Farewell to Christine

Christine Chessler Stull

After five and a half years as Recycle Ann Arbor's Outreach & Zero Waste Coordinator, Christine Chessler-Stull has left to start a new position as Volunteer Coordinator for the University of Michigan's Matthaei Botanical Gardens and Nichol's Arboretum. She will miss educating the Ann Arbor community during Outreach and Zero Waste events but hopes to see many familiar faces at UM volunteer events.

A Warm Welcome to Angela

Angela Porta

Angela Porta will succeed Christine as Recycle Ann Arbor's Outreach & Zero Waste Coordinator. Angela started working at Recycle Ann Arbor in 2016 as an intern assisting with research and events for Zero Waste Washtenaw. She later became Recycle Ann Arbor's Zero Waste Program Assistant. During her time as a Zero Waste intern, she also interned for Washtenaw County's Solid Waste Division, where she was able to continue her work with the Zero Waste Washtenaw program and learn more about solid waste policies and programs in the state of Michigan. Angela looks forward to continuing to help our community become waste aware.
