Acids and bases are most commonly used scientifically and collected into a large drop-off bin. If you need to dispose of used acids and bases, take them to Washtenaw County's Home Toxics disposal site for proper disposal.

Always safely store and maintain acids and bases and do not dump them down drains or dispose of them in the general trash or in curbside recycling carts.
