CFL (compact fluorescent light) bulbs are accepted at the Drop-Off Station and Washtenaw County's Home Toxics disposal site.

CFL bulbs contain hazardous materials and should not be put in curbside recycling bins or trash bins.

- When first arriving on-site, stop at the gatehouse to have your materials assessed and pay the appropriate fee (if applicable). price list for full details

- The gatehouse staff will give you direction as to where your items should be placed.

- Often you are required to visit several different areas and receptacles.

- *SEASONAL NOTICE - during the winter season, the following items cannot be accepted after 5 pm due to lighting and safety concerns: scrap metal, general waste, bulky waste, furniture, yard waste, or concrete.
Recycle Ann Arbor only accepts a very limited number of toxic materials. Washtenaw County’s Home Toxics Reduction Program provides the county residents with a disposal option for the rest of these products.
