Desks that are gently used, clean, and in good usable condition, are accepted for donation at locations throughout the A2 Area Reuse Network. Desks that are broken and in poor, unusable condition are not recyclable but are accepted for safe disposal at the Drop-Off Station and Recovery Yard as general waste. Steel/metal desks are accepted as scrap metal for recycling at the Drop-Off Station and Recovery Yard.
Choose Zero Waste!
Try to repair, refurbish, or repurpose desks first and find another use for them in your home, if not possible, donating usable unwanted furniture instead of throwing them away or recycling them is the best way to ensure they get reused!
