What To Do With Return to A-Z Guide

Pizza Box

Pizza boxes can be composted, no matter how greasy. Pizza boxes are only accepted in curbside recycling bins and at the Drop-Off Station when certain simple rules are followed. Greasy cardboard can be recycled, but pizza and cheese stuck to the box cannot, visually inspect your pizza box for grease, and only recycle the parts that are free of food waste.

Recycle Right!

Make sure to follow these simple rules when recycling your pizza box:

  1. Remove the liner and throw this part away
  2. Visually inspect the box for food waste and remove any food waste
  3. Recycle the empty cardboard pizza box in your curbside bin or at the Drop-Off Station
