What To Do With Return to A-Z Guide

Plastic Straw

Plastic straws are not recyclable and are not accepted in curbside recycling carts or at the Drop-Off Station or Recovery Yard. We encourage you to use reusable straws or skip the straw altogether!

Recycle Right!

Plastic straws are too small to be recycled and will fall through the cracks of the sorting machines. They do not biodegrade, meaning they will eventually break down into harmful microplastics, which are harmful to the ocean and aquatic life. Instead of using plastic straws, consider the alternatives below!

Choose Zero Waste!

Find ways to reduce plastic usage. Skip the straw or use reusable straws such as metal, or silicone straws.
