According to the EPA, in 2013, Americans generated 254 million tons of trash and recycled and composted about 87 million tons of this material. This number is up from a mere 15 million in 1980.
All divisions of RAA will be closed on Monday, September 7th, to observe the Labor Day holiday. There will be no Curbside Pick-Up recycling collection on this day. Curbside pick-up will be shifted by one day and run Tuesday through Saturday.
