Power has been restored, and the Drop-Off Station is OPEN Saturday, September 5. All divisions of RAA will be closed on Monday, September 7th, to observe the Labor Day holiday. There will be no Curbside Pick-Up recycling collection on this day. Curbside pick-up will be shifted by one day and run Tuesday through Saturday.

What To Do With Return to A-Z Guide

Compact fluorescent bulbs (CFLs)

CFL (compact fluorescent light) bulbs are accepted for recycling at the Drop-Off Station and Washtenaw County's Home Toxics disposal site. Do not tape or tie bulbs together.

Recycle Right!

Do not put CFL bulbs in your curbside recycling cart or trash bin because they can break easily and contain hazardous materials and create unsafe conditions for our workers.

Choose Zero Waste!

Consider switching to more energy-efficient LED bulbs.
