Power has been restored, and the Drop-Off Station is OPEN Saturday, September 5. All divisions of RAA will be closed on Monday, September 7th, to observe the Labor Day holiday. There will be no Curbside Pick-Up recycling collection on this day. Curbside pick-up will be shifted by one day and run Tuesday through Saturday.

Paint, oil-based
Oil-based paint is considered a hazardous substance and is accepted at Washtenaw County's Home Toxics disposal site for proper disposal. Paints and primers with or without lead are accepted. Accepted liquid or dry, as well as rags and other items contaminated with oil paint.
Recycle Right!
Combine oil-based paints into as few cans as possible before disposing at the Washtenaw County Home Toxics site. Do NOT put paint or paint cans in your curbside recycling cart. The hazardous materials create dangerous conditions for our workers and could contaminate an entire load of recyclables, turning them into trash and not recycled.
Choose Zero Waste!
Always follow the storage instructions to safely and properly store paint, allowing for multiple uses without it drying out. Thoroughly clean paint brushes, rollers, and pans to ensure they can be reused.
