Power has been restored, and the Drop-Off Station is OPEN Saturday, September 5. All divisions of RAA will be closed on Monday, September 7th, to observe the Labor Day holiday. There will be no Curbside Pick-Up recycling collection on this day. Curbside pick-up will be shifted by one day and run Tuesday through Saturday.

Rat/rodent poison

Rat/rodent poison or rodenticides are considered an extremely hazardous product and are accepted for proper disposal at Washtenaw County's Home Toxics disposal site.

 

Recycle Right!

Do not put rat poison or empty poison containers in your curbside recycling cart or trash bin. The hazardous chemicals create dangerous conditions for our workers and could contaminate an entire load of recyclables, and groundwater. Dispose of rat poison safely at the Washtenaw County Home Toxics site.

 

Choose Zero Waste!

Choose safer alternatives to rat poison by sealing all potential entry points in your home for small critters, ensuring all food is stored securely, and keeping compost piles further away from your house.
