Transmission fluid is accepted for safe waste disposal at the Drop-Off Station or can be taken to Washtenaw County's Home Toxics disposal site for proper disposal.

Do not put transmission fluid or fluid containers in your curbside recycling cart. The hazardous chemicals create dangerous conditions for our workers and could contaminate an entire load of recyclables, turning them into trash and not recycled. Dispose of transmission fluid safely at the Washtenaw County Home Toxics site.
